PIW 2175
The PIW 2175 is used for the filtration and separation of hydraulic oils and diesel fuel. The internal cartridge consists of a filter layer and a coalescing layer to capture and accumulate water particles in the fluid. The separated water collects in the lower section, where a detection probe is located.

Applications
The PIW 2175 is mainly used for the separation of water from hydraulic fluids and diesel fuel in:
- medium-to-large vessels;
- power plants for generating energy from liquid fuels;
- heating systems;
- heavy earthmoving machinery.
- Maximum fluid viscosity 100 cSt.
- Flow rate up to 50 l/min.
- 7 µm filtration.
- Maximum fluid temperature 90°C – 70°C for marine version.
- Pressure 16 bar.
- Cartridge status monitoring with integrated 2.2 bar differential pressure switch.
- Highly efficient water filtration and separation in a single system.
- Compact design requires little space.
- Low operating costs.
- Low maintenance.
- The filter’s clogging status is monitored via a differential pressure switch.
- At a differential pressure of 2.2 bar, the element must be replaced.
- The integrated probe detects the presence of water.
