In applications close to electrical contacts, sparks burn silicone oil that has migrated onto contaminated contacts and turns it into silicate. The contact resistance is thus severely compromised and abrasive wear also increases. A simple solution: use a silicone-free thermal compound. It does not migrate and has numerous advantages for your electrical contacts.
Silicone-free and thermal conductivity from 0.7 to 3.3.W/mK.
