PI 1710 immersed suction filter
The PI 1710 series filters are part of the family of suction filters, required for the protection of systems with moving parts. They are installed upstream of the pumps, immersed in the fluid, and ensure the capture of all medium-to-large particles that may be present in the storage tank.

- The filter surface is sized to ensure long life at the right flow rate.
- Installation and replacement are quick and easy.
- The filter is screwed directly onto the pump’s suction line and immersed in the operating fluid.
- Ensure the minimum level is always above the filter to avoid drawing air.
- Provide a device to read the suction vacuum for filter replacement.
- The metal mesh used as the filter media can be restored using an ultrasonic bath (80-90%) or manual cleaning (60-70%).
