The tile adhesive production process involves homogenizing cement, sand and various additives in precisely defined percentages to achieve the best chemical and physical properties. For this reason, an automatic scraper filter is optimal, combining high continuous filtration efficiency with mixing capacity. Filtration Group selected an AF 43 self-cleaning filter with 500 μm perforated foil filter elements. These elements are kept in constant motion relative to the metal scrapers due to the characteristics of the fluid (highly viscous, thixotropic material) and the variable contaminant load.
