The ALPA SRG-1 system is Lubropoint’s solution for filtering all low-viscosity fluids containing all types of contaminants. It is designed and optimized for quick and easy installation, with the configuration best suited to the customer’s needs. This automatic filtration system was designed and built by us to filter cooling water from carbon residues. It is installed in a major biomass-fired power plant.

Where to use it
Thanks to the high versatility of the AF 113 series automatic filters, the system can be implemented in numerous applications requiring high filtration performance, even in the presence of difficult-to-treat solid particles. It is designed to operate in bypass mode, but with dedicated research, an online solution is also possible.
How it works
The electric feed pump draws fluid from the main tank and sends it to the filter, where the particles settle on the filter element. Once the desired level of contamination is reached, the pressure switch monitors the differential pressure and sends a signal to the control panel to start the cleaning cycle. The contaminants are removed and discharged, all without ever interrupting the filtration process.
